Edin Suljagić was born on November 22, 1962. year in Tuzla, where he finished elementary school and high school. He graduated from the Faculty of Medicine in Tuzla in 1988. in the regular term with an average grade of 9.31 as the best student of the generation. He is doing his medical internship at the University Hospital Tuzla. dr. Edin Suljagić enrolled in postgraduate studies in 1989. and in March 1993. he defended his master’s thesis entitled “Frequency and distribution of skin tumors”. He successfully completed his specialization in March 1997. and since then he has been practicing corrective dermatology at the Medical Cosmetology Department of the Clinic for Skin and Sexual Diseases of the University Hospital Tuzla. During his specialization, he stayed several times for professional training at the most famous European dermatovenerology clinics.

He defended his doctoral dissertation entitled “The influence of psychological factors on the onset and course of psoriasis vulgaris” on May 28, 1999. Following European congresses of dermatovenerology, he participates in numerous congresses (Zagreb, Opatija, Cavtat, Ljubljana, Rogaška Slatina, Geneva, Munich, Budapest, Paris, London, Trieste, Prague, Florence, Barcelona, ​​Regensburg, Innsbruck…) He has won numerous awards for the best presentations. During 2002. he stayed several times at the Clinic for Plastic Surgery and the Clinic for Skin and Sexual Diseases of the Clinical Hospital Center in Ljubljana for training in the application of botulinum toxin (BOTOX) for dermatological indications. In 1999, he was elected assistant professor at the Department of Dermatovenerology of the Faculty of Medicine in Tuzla, and in March 2010, he was elected associate professor. He is also a professor at the department of dermatovenerology at the College of Health. He is a member of the federal commission for passing the specialist exam in dermatovenerology and the commission for the defense of master’s degree and doctoral dissertation.

He is the founder and founder of Farah Dermatological and Cosmetic Center, which started its work in 1998. In addition to his own education, he pays special attention to the education of the staff of the Farah Dermatological Cosmetic Center, so we can safely say that the Farah Dermatological Cosmetic Center employs the most educated staff in the field of cosmetology.

2001 actively begins to deal with the use of lasers in dermatology. It is among the first in the region to apply the latest technologies and knowledge in the field of dermatovenerology, aesthetic-corrective procedures and laser application. To date, he has attended numerous trainings in the field of laser dermatology in well-known European clinics in Trieste, Prague, Rotterdam… and continues to carry out further training. Currently, his Dermatology Cosmetic Center Farah is the most fully equipped laser center in the Balkans.

With the introduction of the first laser – the Mediostar laser for the permanent removal of unwanted hair in 2001. dr. Suljagić started cooperation with the German company Asclepion – the European leader in the production of lasers for use in dermatovenerology. Until 2011. acquired 9 more lasers so that his DKC Farah, in addition to Trieste and Prague, became a reference center for educational training in the field of dermatovenerology and dermatosurgery. In recognition of persistent work, a large number of clients and fascinating results, the German company Asclepion in DKC Farah plans and realizes a series of very successful educational trainings for doctors from the wider region every year for working with lasers, and the main educator is prof. Suljagic.

Prof. Suljagić writes and publishes articles and answers questions from readers in the most widely circulated Bosnian daily newspaper (AVAZ) as well as many others. So far, his articles have been published in many newspapers, magazines and weeklies – AVAZ, AZRA, GRACIJA, MAGAZINE, TUZLANSKI LIST, CHIC, CAFFE NOVINE…

He participated as a guest in most radio stations in Bosnia and Herzegovina. On television, he participated as a guest in the following shows: Morning programs of regional television, Forbidden forum, Sunday collage and other collage programs and many shows related to topics in the field of both classical dermatovenerology and novelties in aesthetic correction, especially in laser dermatology and other numerous shows .
