In the field of anti-aging medicine, injectables such as neurotoxins and fillers are some of the best non-invasive procedures for reducing wrinkles and fine lines. Training courses for Botulinum Toxin (Botox®️, Dysport®️, Nuceiva®️, and Xeomin®️) and Dermal Fillers must follow all standards of practice and patient safety regulations. Due to the high demand for these services, more and more practitioners show interest in administering these products as part of their clinical services.
You will learn the theory portion of the course online along with an online examination. After you will continue with a hands-on practical component supervised by CBAM’s team of experienced instructors and physicians. The practical component includes the review of the following topics:
- Anatomy review (upper face muscles, midface fat compartments, arteries of the face)
- Consent processing and post-care instructions
- Facial analysis and evaluation
- Emergency kit items
- Selection of right product (for fillers)
- Management of Complications
- Patient pictures and records
+ Practice on numerous live models for 2 days
We usually have practice days for this course 2 days per month in multiple Canadian cities. See the calendar of in-class courses.
If you upgrade to either Board Certified Package or CAMP Certified Package, you can repeat the practice days for 6 months.
The course structure includes online preparation materials and online exam plus two-day intensive course covers the theoretical fundamentals of Skin anatomy, Skin aging, Botulinum toxin (Botox®️, Dysport®️, Nuceiva®️ and Xeomin®️), and dermal fillers. It will also incorporate a practical component for techniques taught in the course. This course is specifically designed for nursing students, medical residents, registered nurses, and physicians. The course will be held in a clinical/educational environment and all students will receive the Certificate of Completion of CBAM at the completion of this course while they complete one milestone towards getting CBAM designations.
All students are also required to complete the online Skin Treatments and Chemical peel course and pass the exam before they are able to attend this course. At the completion of the Skin treatment and chemical peel, the students will receive the Certificate of Completion for this course as well. This course has over $400 value, but it is free for the students who take the Basic Injectables course.

- Must be a licensed and practicing healthcare professional to practice techniques taught in this program. (Doctors, Dentists, Nurses)
- Familiarly with retrieving information, articles, and reference books.
- Safety practice guidelines for injections for the health care professionals and patients.
All classes will be taught by licensed professionals practicing in the field of medical aesthetics. The theoretical component will incorporate online workshops, visual references, PowerPoint presentations, videos, and case studies for teaching purposes. The practical component will be performed in multiple stations with a 1:4-5 instructor/student ratio by working on lots of live models. When there is a chance, the students will rotate among the practical stations in order to learn from multiple expert instructors.
