Injectables: Filler and botox course is a comprehensive program including an online course plus 2-day practical workshop and hands-on injection on live models designed for both beginners in the field of aesthetic medicine and practitioners who wish to add this service to their current list of procedures.

In this course, you will be introduced to basic treatments most commonly used in aesthetic medicine. Students will become familiar with products as well as how to effectively and safely administer them to clients.

You will learn the theory portion of the course online along with an online examination. After you will continue with a hands-on practical component supervised by CBAM’s team of experienced instructors and physicians. The practical component includes the following:

During the practical hours, the students will be grouped in multiple stations to practice on live models. Each station includes 4 to 5 students with one instructor.

The depth of theoretical materials and hands-on practical experience will enhance your confidence at your practice to deliver a safe and outstanding service for your clients. 

The course structure includes online preparation materials and online exam plus two-day intensive course covers the theoretical fundamentals of Skin anatomy, Skin aging, Botulinum toxin (Botox®, Dysport®, Nuceiva® and Xeomin®), and dermal fillers. It will also incorporate a practical component for techniques taught in the course. This course is specifically designed for nursing students, medical residents, registered nurses, and physicians. The course will be held in a clinical/educational environment and all students will receive the Certificate of Completion of CBAM at the completion of this course while they complete one milestone towards getting CBAM designations.

All students are also required to complete the online Skin Treatments and Chemical peel course and pass the exam before they are able to attend this course. At the completion of the Skin treatment and chemical peel, the student will receive the Certificate of Completion for this course as well. This course has $450 value, but it is free for the students who take the injectables certificate course.

  • Learn the most up-to-date knowledge-based practices in medical aesthetic techniques.
  • Practice and abide by all the standards of the governing college of the health care practitioner.
  • Know the scope of practice for each health care practitioner and understand the rules and guidelines for delegation.
  • Be able to competently and safely perform basic botox and filler injections under the supervision of an experienced practitioner in the field of cosmetic injections.
  • Know potential contraindications and complications of each treatment method and how to deal with adverse patient outcomes to treatment
  • Understand the basics of skin anatomy, skin physiology, skin aging, common skin products, chemical peel and how to apply chemical peel 
  • In-depth knowledge of facial anatomy (including facial muscles, nerves, arteries, and veins).
  • Must be a licensed and practicing healthcare professional to practice techniques taught in this program. (Doctors, Dentists, Nurses)
  • Familiarly with retrieving information, articles, and reference books.
  • Safety practice guidelines for injections for the health care professionals and patients.

All classes will be taught by licensed professionals practicing in the field of medical aesthetics. The theoretical component will incorporate online workshops, visual references, PowerPoint presentations, videos, and case studies for teaching purposes. The practical component will be a 1:5-6 instructor/student ratio on 5-6 live models each day with different aesthetic needs and goals.

Who can take this Botox and filler training training?

Physicians, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, dentists, and international medical doctors and nurses are able to take this course to become experts in Botox injection and filler injection!

What is Botox training course?

The Botox (neurotoxin) training course trains students to understand the bacterial toxin botulinum, used medically to treat certain muscular conditions and cosmetically to remove wrinkles by temporarily paralyzing facial muscles. Main topics covered in Botox training in this course will be forehead, glabella, and crow’s feet. More advanced neurotoxin treatments is covered in other CBAM courses such as Advanced Injector: Advanced botox and filler course.

What is filler training course?

This filler training course ensures that the students learn the basics of dermal fillers, anatomical landmarks, major blood vessels in the face, danger zones, major fat compartments in the face, filler injection techniques and dealing with the complications of the fillers. Main areas are covered in this course will be midface and cheeks, nasolabial, and lip augmentation. Filler treatment for other areas such as jawlines, chin or non-surgical soft face lift is covered in the other CBAM courses such as Advanced injector: Advanced botox and filler course.

What is the duration of the Botox and filler injection courses?

Injectable: Filler and Botox training course is a comprehensive two-day program designed for both beginners in the field of aesthetic medicine and practitioners who wish to add this service to their current list of procedures. Prerequisite of this course is to review the online materials related to this topic and also online Skin treatments and Chemical peel course materials which is sent to the participant upon registration.

The 2 day practical parts of the course include workshops for Anatomy review, Case study, Emergency kit, Complications management, Patient evaluation and recording. After, the course will be completed with the hands-on practical component injecting multiple live models supervised by CBAM’s team of experienced instructors and physicians. The depth of theoretical materials and hands-on practical experience will enhance your confidence at your practice to deliver a safe and outstanding service to your clients.
