Course and Fellowship Definition

The Diploma program in Aesthetic Medicine at Reflexions is designed for the practitioners who would like to get trained in Aesthetic Medicine under the Canadian Board of Aesthetic Medicine and become Certified, in this field which is globally recognized. These practitioners will complete all the process stages, including online courses, in-class workshops, fellowships and multiple exams.

This program includes 2 steps (approximately 10 days in length) and is offered in many countries worldwide. Aer completing these 2 steps and the examinations, they are awarded the Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine. The graduates interested in receiving the Board Certified designation and having their name displayed on the list of Board-Certified designation and to have their name displayed on the list of Board-Certified practitioners on the CBAM website are required to complete the Step 3 as well.

Part 1: Online and Virtual sections

There are 8 courses which are delivered in this section. As soon as you register for the package, you will get access to the online materials.

Note: Your access to the online materials will remain until 6 months after the beginning of Step 1 or 3 months after the completion of Step 3 exams (If you have registered for all 3 steps.)

Canadian Aesthetic Board Certification Program

For candidates who have completed Step 1 and 2 at one of CBAM International Centers

The Canadian Aesthetic Board Certification Program, is designed for the aesthetic physicians and practitioners who have completed Step 1 and 2  at one of the CBAM authorized centers around the world.

By demanding the applicants to have sufficient exposure to academic sources, virtual practical assessment sessions and examinations, the purpose of the program is to help candidates to expand their academic knowledge and hands-on experience in the field even further.

By completing the Canadian Aesthetic Board Certification successfully, the applicants become Canadian Board Certified in Aesthetic Medicine and their names will be displayed on the CBAM official website.

Who is eligible for Canadian Aesthetic Board Certification?

There are 2 groups of practitioners who are eligible to start this process:

  1. The international medical professionals who have completed Step 1 and Step 2 in one of the affiliated CBAM centres in all over the world. (this is not applicable to the graduates of CBAM programs in Canadian centres)
  2. Dermatologists or plastic surgeons who have not attended Step 1 or Step 2 in CBAM centres, but wish to  become a Board certified member of the Canadian Board of Aesthetic Medicine can apply for the  (Canadian Aesthetic Board Certification – Advaced Standing Program)
