2-Day Advanced Injectable Workshop: Detailed Anatomical Approach
Why should you take this course?
2-Day Advanced Injector program is designed for physicians who are already performing injectables (Neurotoxin and filler treatments) on their patients, however, would like to learn about the anatomical details of the injections. The instructors of this course, Dr. Akef with years of experience of working with variety of injectables and visiting thousands of patients in accompanies with Dr. Talani who has trained thousands of students in clinical anatomy have designed this workshop to make sure the physicians have a safer and more effective practice.
This course is combined of the theory section which focuses on advanced neurotoxin and filler treatments and hands-on practicum to practice on the live models.
The neurotoxin part of the course includes detailed anatomy of the muscles in the head and neck area, the on-label treatments of neurotoxin for forehead and upper face area as well as the off-label treatments such as Masseter reduction, Gummy smile, Platysma and Smoker’s line. Also in the neurotoxin part of the course, tension headache, migraine prophylaxis and hyperhydrosis are covered and practiced.
The filler part of the course will focus on detailed anatomy of the skin layers and fat compartments and the areas where lose volume by aging and also will teach you how to apply canula techniques for midface and cheek areas. Also other advanced filler techniques such as soft non-surgical face lift, Periorbital and tear trough management, Perioral and Marionette lines management, lip augmentation, chin and Jawline contouring are a part of this course.
Each day starts with the theory part which includes the review of anatomy in each area, the techniques review, the live demonstration on models and it is followed by the students’ practice on live models under the supervision of our expert physicians and injectors.
By completing this course, you will receive a Certificate of Completion for the course. In addition, you may complete a milestone towards becoming a CBAM Board Certified. All physicians who complete this course also are qualified to apply for CME.
