Program Overview
In this online course, you will learn the details of facial anatomy in order to use this knowledge for applying a safe injectable treatment for your patients. This course includes employing appropriate anatomical terminology, identifying major muscular, vascular, and nervous structures in the head and neck region, identifying anatomical locations of needles and topography of injection sites and identifying the correct placement and injection techniques in relation to the underlying facial anatomy. The structures which are reviewed are facial and masticator muscles, head and neck superficial blood vessels, head and neck superficial nerves, superficial and deep fat compartments and their separating ligaments.
