Step 3 (Review and Board Examination)

The participants must have at least 4 months gap between Step 2 and Step 3*

* The 4 months gap can be exempted for the following groups:

• Core specialist physicians (plastic surgeons or dermatologists) who have at least one year experience in aesthetic field (injectables and energy-based devices)
• Non core specialist physicians who have at least 3 years experience in aesthetic field (injectables and energy-based devices)

Day 1: Review Day:

• Review of anatomy
• Review and aesthetic injectables techniques and live demos
• Review and aesthetic complications and management

Day 2: Board Certified Examination (full day exam)

• Morning session: Multiple choice exam
• Afternoon session: Case-study exam

Note:

1. All students must attend the review course.
2. The participants must have at least 4 months gap between Step 2 and Step 3 unless they are a core specialist physician (plastic surgeons or dermatologists) who have at least one year experience in aesthetic field or they are a non core specialist physician who have at least 3 years experience in the aesthetic field.
3. Step 3 is delivered in Canadian centers and international centers (in the near future).
