Our clinics
Two different things happen at CBAM’s own clinics in Toronto & Vancouver: Practice Days during your program, and the Job Placement Program after your courses.

During your program
Practice Days
Book sessions at our clinics in Toronto & Vancouver during your program year, and keep treating your patients with CBAM’s support. The treatments you document there can go into your case logbook.
- From the Diploma up, during your program year, based on availability and on a first-come, first-served basis
- No charge to you. Your patients pay the clinic for the products used and a clinic fee

After your courses
The Job Placement Program
After you complete the Diploma, Board Certification or Fellowship courses, you can practise at CBAM’s own clinics with your own patients. CBAM provides the treatment room, products, front desk and Medical Director oversight.
- From the Diploma up, based on availability, first come, first served
- You set your own prices and pay a flat per-treatment clinic overhead
- Not included with the Basic Injectables Course
Questions before you enrol
The answers most people need before choosing a program.
Who can enrol, and in which provinces?
Our training is for licensed healthcare professionals: registered nurses, registered practical nurses, licensed practical nurses, nurse practitioners, physicians, surgeons and physician assistants. Dentists, pharmacists and respiratory therapists may qualify, depending on provincial regulations. In-class training runs in Toronto, Vancouver, Edmonton and Montreal. What you may do after training depends on your licence and your province.
What exams are there?
The Diploma in Aesthetic Medicine has the MCQ, a written multiple-choice exam. Board Certification has the MCQ and the OSCE, a practical exam at timed clinical stations. The Fellowship uses the same two exams and has no exam of its own. The OSCE exam fee is included in the program price.
What does the designation involve?
Every course you complete earns its own certificate. The designation is an optional extra step: pass the program’s exams and submit a case logbook of documented treatments on your own patients, in your practice or at Practice Days. The logbook is a minimum for the designation, not a limit on how many patients you treat.
What are Practice Days, and is there a fee?
Practice Days are sessions at CBAM’s clinics in Toronto & Vancouver where you treat your own patients. From the Diploma up, you can book them during your 1-year program period, based on availability and on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no charge to you; your patients pay the clinic for the products used and a clinic fee.
How long do I have to earn the designation?
One year from your first hands-on in-class day, for the Diploma, Board Certification and the Fellowship. Your exams and case logbook fall within that year. Your course certificates are not affected.
Can I upgrade from one program to another?
Yes. If you start with the Basic Injectables Course or the Diploma, the courses you have completed and the payments you have made can be applied toward a larger program. A CBAM advisor will confirm the balance for your upgrade.
I trained as a physician outside Canada. Can I attend?
Internationally trained physicians who are not yet licensed in Canada can attend hands-on training in Ontario only. Please email proof of your education, translated into English or French, to info@cbamedicine.com before you pay. Completing a course does not give the right to practise in Canada.
How can I pay?
Pay in full, pay in instalments, or apply for financing. Financing is provided by an independent third party and is subject to approval. Every fee and payment option is under Fees and enrolment on this page.
Does this training change my scope of practice?
No. CBAM certificates and designations recognise training completed with CBAM. They are not a licence and do not change your scope of practice, which is set by your regulatory college and your province. Check your college’s requirements, for example whether you need an order or a Medical Director, before treating patients.
What goes into the case logbook?
At least 8 documented treatments for the Diploma, and at least 12 for Board Certification and the Fellowship. They are treatments on your own patients, in your practice or at Practice Days, within 1 year of your first hands-on in-class day. To treat patients at a Practice Day, you must be permitted to practise in that province.
Graduates
What our students say
An amazing program! Top notch instructors who take their time and elevate the educational experience with their expertise. Offering small, intimate class settings that allow the student enough dedicated time and coaching to become confident in skills and anatomy. Would recommend for anyone considering!!!
I attended multiple online courses and one hands on training so far. I loved the experience! I would definitely recommend CBAM to any seasoned and also new injectors. Having been to other hands on courses with other providers, I can say that this one has been very detailed in explanation and technique.
A great learning experience with real-time patient interaction and treatments. Plenty of hands-on to hone your skills with practical keypoints from different instructors. One of the best trainings in Aesthetic medicine!
